Paul Okawa

President, Chief Investment Officer, CFA
Mr. Okawa is President of Quantitative Strategies, Inc. (QSI) and is one of the co-founders. Paul has been overseeing investment strategies in the investment industry for over 18 years. His experience includes acting as Vice President of Planned Asset Management, a financial planning firm, overseeing asset allocation, trading and providing analysis, research and due diligence for the underlying investments. Mr. Okawa has a B.S. Degree in Finance from California State University at Northridge. He has the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and holds Series 7, 63, and 24 NASD licenses.

Morrie W. Reiff, CFP

Co-Founder
Mr. Reiff co-founded QSI in 2001 with Alan Shorr. He is president and co-founder of AFA Financial Group, LLC, and president of Planned Asset Management Inc., a financial planning firm. Morrie has over 33 years of experience in the investment industry. Along with advisory and financial planning duties, Mr. Reiff is often quoted in the Los Angeles Business Journal, LA Times and other trade publications and is a sought after speaker in the area. In 1995, the city of Los Angeles honored him with a proclamation for his charitable work. Mr. Reiff has a B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Alan Shorr, CFP, ChFC

Co-Founder
Alan Shorr co-founded QSI with Mr. Reiff in 2001. He is a veteran of the securities industry with over 25 years of experience. During his career, he has advised both retail and institutional investors on wealth management issues. In 2003, Mr. Shorr became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFA Financial Group, LLC. In that capacity, he has been responsible for strategic planning, new product development and due diligence on all private equity products. In addition to his roles at QSI and AFA Financial, Alan sits on numerous boards and is frequently a guest speaker at industry events. Mr. Shorr received his Bachelor's degree from California State University at Northridge, and completed his Masters in Business Designation from California University at Bakersfield.
